The French automaker Citroen has just unveiled the REVOLTe concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the REVOLTe is a compact city car that combines luxury with a touch of fun. The REVOLTe concept is not very big, measuring in at 3.68 meters long, 1.73 meters wide and 1.35 meters tall and features a three seater cabin design.

The REVOLTe is powered by a rechargeable hybrid drivetrain that consists if a small displacement conventional combustion engine combined with an electric motor, with a battery supplying the electric motor with juice and both power plants able to drive the wheels.

The hybrid-engined car features 2+2 seating, polycarbonate windows and gull-wing doors.

It has an anticipated top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and can reach 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

eugeot has unveiled its new RCZ coupe, ahead of the official unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The two-door 2010 RCZ has a sleek and sexy design and aerodynamic looks. This 2+2 seater has the same double bubble roof as its preceding concept, the 308 RCZ.

Peugeot will offer the car in a number of power options, with three engines available at launch. At the bottom of the pile is the 1.6-liter gasoline engine that generates 156bhp and 240Nm of torque. It is available with six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and claims an average fuel economy of 40.9mpg with CO2 emissions at 159 g/km. Next comes the 2.0-l HDi FAP that provides 163bhp and 340Nm of torque this one comes with a six-speed manual transmission and claims a fuel economy of 52.3mpg with CO2 emissions at 139 g/km.

At the top is the 1.6-l THP that boasts 200bhp and 255Nm of torque. An overboost function allows the engine to command another 20Nm whenever required. The 2010 RCZ Coupe is expected to reach dealerships by spring next year.

The Honda RA-X Concept from designer Xuacu Pérez Quesada was developed as a credible vehicle that would be fit for production with currently available technology and systems. The concept was designed to mark Honda’s presence in motorsports, and hence carries the letters RA.

The exterior of the concept shows smooth, crossing lines that form a theoretical “X,” and the engine on the mid-engine sportscar remains visible through the glass covering. The rear shows prominent engine vents and LED tail-lamps arranged in a triangular shape. The design is dominated by steep ridges, but its smooth surfaces add dynamism to the model. It measures at length 4050 / height 1163 / 1940 width. The two-seater has a 350hp MR engine supplying power to the rear wheels.
